Prior to KTWO, Rose worked as an assignment desk, and edit coordinator at KCBS/KCAL in Studio City, Los Angeles, California from May 2007 to May 2008. However, her hard work and skills have earned her several accolades including an Emmy Award and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award. Besides being a journalist, she dedicates and serves on several boards and donates her time to many organizations in the community. She began her career as a dancer for the Minor League Baseball team the Jethawks at the age of fifteen. She was part of the Hawkette dancer team and also worked on various dance routines as well as performing at home matches.

Additionally, Rose is the President and the founder of the Wishes and Heroes Benefit Concert annual fundraiser. Notably, she began the foundation in 2011 in honor and memory of her father who died of leukemia in 2010. However, since the foundation was started, it has raised more than $250,000 and granted wishes to dozens of sick children through the ‘Make-A-Wish’ Foundation. The foundation has also helped dozens of firefighters through the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation.

Rose is also part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and hosts an annual concert sponsored by 9NEWS to raise money to help children battling Leukemia in Colorado. On the other hand, when she is not working, she enjoys reading books, working out, and getting involved in various charity work in and around the community. In addition, she loves cooking and eating sweet things as well as spending time outdoors skiing and hiking.
