Rivera has been a sports anchor and reporter for WFOR | CBS Miami since April 2023. She is a bilingual sports journalist and a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. Before joining CBS4, she spent a year working as a sports reporter and anchor at NBC5 Chicago, Telemundo Chicago, and NBC Sports Chicago. Previously, she worked as a bilingual team reporter and an in-game host at San Diego Wave FC. She interviewed players, produced, and edited various pieces about the team throughout the week in Spanish and English.

Prior to that, Rivera served as a multimedia journalist and sports reporter at FOX 5 San Diego (KSWB-TV)  from January 2021 to February 2022. However, she covered local sports at all levels, filled in to anchor, and produced shows on weekends/weekdays. Previously, she spent two years as a sports anchor and reporter at WTVO/WQRF, ABC & FOX Affiliates in Rockford, Illinois. She co-hosted the Bear Blitz show, covering the Chicago Bears and The Sports Connection, covering all local high school football/basketball.

Before joining WTVO, Rivera served as a multimedia journalist, anchor, and reporter for WLUC-TV6/FOX U.P. in Marquette, MI. She anchored and produced a 10 p.m. show and also served as a fill-in anchor and producer of 5 to 6 p.m. shows.
