Moreover, she hosts Town Hall America with Harris Faulkner, a primetime political franchise. She joined the FOX News Channel (FNC) team in 2005.

She began as a correspondent of the program Current Affair until it was canceled in  October 2005. In addition, she spent more than five years anchoring her first solo network newscast called Fox Report Weekend. Occasionally, Faulkner appeared as a guest on the late-night show Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld.

During Faulkner’s tenure at FNC, she has anchored the network’s breaking news coverage worldwide and also conducted interviews with high-profile candidates. She covered the coronavirus pandemic, America Together with Harris Faulkner, and  America Copes Together, among others. In addition, she co-moderated alongside Bill Hemmer with Donald Trump and members of the White House coronavirus task force a two-hour virtual town hall. She moderated numerous voter panels during the 2020 presidential election to complement the network’s primetime election special. 

Prior to anchoring, Faulkner has interviewed several prominent figures such as Donald Trump, Gabby Douglas, Cindy McCain, and Sen. John McCain, among others. Notably, she has also covered global breaking news like the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the 2013 government shutdown, and the AIDS crisis in South Africa. Similarly, she covered the 2016 and 2020 Republican and Democratic National Conventions, the Sandy Hook mass shooting, the death of Whitney Houston, and the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

Before joining FNC, Faulkner worked as a correspondent and substitute host for “A Current Affair” 20th Century Fox, syndication in New York. She served as a substitute host on The Nancy Grace Show on CNN’s Headline News. Previously, she worked at KSTP-TV (ABC affiliate) in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN as an evening news anchor. She spent four years co-anchoring local newscasts at 5 p.m. and 10 p.m., from January 2000 to June 2004. Before joining KSTP-TV, Faulkner served at WDAF-TV (FOX) in Kansas City, MO as the primary evening news anchor. She anchored 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts from March 1992 to December 1999. Finally, she began her career in October 1991 at WNCT-TV, a CBS affiliate in Greenville, North Carolina as an anchor and reporter. She also worked on FM107 Radio where she hosted the Harris Faulkner Show.

Faulkner is associated with the Green Beret Foundation which provides family, transition, and medical support for personnel that have served in the United States Army Special Forces. She is also involved with the Navy Seal Foundation whose purpose is to provide immediate assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community alongside its families. Moreover, Faulkner works with the Avon Foundation for Women, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation.
